A Crazy Holiday Season
I true “Kim fashion”, I once again, bit off more than I could chew. So, 25 days of blogmas just didn’t happen. It has been a ridiculously crazy month, and so I shall give myself grace and try again next year.
I wanted to take a moment and write an official holiday post. First I want to thank each and every one of you who have been reading and supporting and interacting with this blog. This community is full of amazing people and I am so grateful to you all for what you bring to the community.
Next, I want to update you all on some fun stuff going on in our family’s journey. So, for starters, I want to let you all know that Tomorrow December 24th from 6:00 PM Eastern until roughly 11:00 PM Eastern time, A dear friend of mine Beth Ferguson, from Moving Grooving Granny will be helping me as we co-host a Count Down to Santa. We have about 8-10 different activities ranging from hanging stockings, to listening to stories and even a craft or 2. We will be Live on Facebook from a private event, so if you would like your kiddos to participate, please check out Journey’s Facebook page on how to join in the fun.
We will also be having a Count Down to “Noon” Year AND New Year. Both Count Down events will be completely virtual and entirely done in Facebook events. They will be private and a great place to interact with our community and learn more about The Moving Grooving Granny community. Again, check out the Journey Facebook page for more information on joining either of these new year events.
Lastly, as far as updates go, I’d like to introduce you to my family’s newest project, Ki-Na Kid Vids. This will be a fun and interactive community helping children get excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities. We will be creating 3 videos a week as well as an intro blog post to introduce the topic of the week and give you an idea on items you may want to grab to play along with us. We will also have an interactive Facebook group which we will be encouraging families to share pics and videos of the projects they complete with us that week. This is going to be a TON of fun, and a great way to bring families together.
So, as I conclude this holiday post I want to wish you all the Happiest of Holidays. No matter what holiday you celebrate, this is a time for family, friends, and fun. Please have an amazing holiday and we will see you for another Top 10 Tuesdays on the 26th.
